It makes sense, and in all reality, there are severe differences in the male and female brains, but this kind of information at the wrong time can utterly fuck up our movement! I'm all for better women's medicine, goddess knows that medicine, especially in the mental area, has fallen short for women for centuries.

ReplyDeleteTake heart. There's a lot of pseudoscience in the disciplines populated by "real scientists" (biology, chemistry, etc.)
I love this book. If I had my way, every kid in science class would have to read it--not for the gender messages, but to correct the fact that we're rather unthoroughly educated about being "scientific" as we quickly move on to formulae & doing experiments of our own.
